Christopher Celenza

Christopher Celenza, James B. Knapp Dean of the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, Johns Hopkins University, is featured in Ideas Roadshow’s documentary film PANDEMIC PERSPECTIVES (2023).

This film provides a thoughtful window into a spectrum of key societal issues illuminated by the COVID-19 Pandemic through the prism of 32 international experts in biology, education, history, law, philosophy, politics, psychology, and more. All participants were filmed remotely at the height of the pandemic using local film crews during the second half of 2021.

As part of the Pandemic Perspectives Project, we also recorded a detailed podcast conversation with Christopher Celenza, A Classical Approach to Improving Communication, which is available on the Ideas Roadshow Podcast Channel.

In addition, Howard Burton’s book Pandemic Perspectives: A Filmmaker’s Journey in 10 Essays, charts his personal quest to make sense of the COVID-19 pandemic.
