Early 2025 we released our first films in this new series painting a detailed picture of some of the most iconic artworks of the Renaissance: Botticelli’s Primavera and Raphael’s School of Athens.
The films are based on meticulous research and offer a captivating examination of a single masterpiece through an engaging narrative and intriguing contextual details to bring the art, the artist and his or her world to life. Viewers get uniquely up close with the art and are provided with a deep sense of the subtle levels of meaning hidden within masterworks that have mesmerized people for more than 500 years.
Upcoming films include Sofonisba’s Chess Game, Bruegel’s Towers of Babel, Arcimboldo’s Four Seasons and Fede Galizia’s Portrait of Paolo Morigia.
