NEW: Starting in early 2024, we’ll be steadily releasing a variety of films about the Italian Renaissance, from narrative explorations of the lives, accomplishments and legacies of famous artists to detailed profiles of renowned writers to a series of broad contextual overviews illustrating what made this particular time and place so exceptional.  

By combining our extensive research skills with the latest digital media techniques, we aim to present viewers with a captivating range of fully accessible insights into this profoundly exciting period in history. 

Artists of the Renaissance

This is an ongoing series of stand-alone films featuring strong and effective storytelling with lots of contextual details while presenting viewers with an abundance of enticing images of relevant artworks, maps, etc.

The first film will focus on the extraordinary life, achievements and legacy of Raphael (1483-1520), one of history’s most celebrated and productive artists, who was also an accomplished architect in charge of all building stone excavated in and around Rome for the development of the new Saint Peter’s Basilica.

Other artists in this series include Botticelli, Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Sofonisba Anguissola.
